Hit-and-Run in San Diego

On Tuesday, a woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in the Valencia Park area. The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Groveland Street. According to Fox Channel Five News, the 32-year-old woman sustained a life-threatening skull fracture.

The victim was apparently trying to walk eastbound across Euclid Avenue when she was struck. The driver was reportedly in a small light-colored sedan and headed west on Market Street after fleeing the scene. There’s no word on the victims current condition or the status of the investigation.
