Earlier this month, there was an incident involving a Lyft driver in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, Lyft driver, Ali Kendirili, was arrested for allegedly stabbing one of his passengers. Very few details have been released about this incident, but initial reports indicate that there was an argument inside of the vehicle. The driver was able to post bail, and the District Attorney has declined to file charges.

The incident reportedly happened around the 6100 block of Caminito Del Oeste. The stabbing victim did require stitches, but there is no update on that person’s current condition. Lyft has permanently deactivated Kendirili as a driver. This incident could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
