Last week, three people were injured in a crash involving a vehicle that caught fire on Highway 166. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened near Spanish Ranch, between Santa Maria and Cuyama, at about 3:30 a.m. on Thursday. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that the single-vehicle crash ended in flames. Thankfully, all three people were able to escape the wreckage.

When first responders arrived on the scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Fire crews had to put that fire out and also extinguish a small grass fire that the wreck caused. No information has been released about the extent of injuries involved in this crash. Additionally, there has been no word on the cause of this crash, which could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
