Last Wednesday, there was a two-car injury crash on Highway 246 near Lompoc. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened near the intersection of Highway 246 and Hapgood Road. Although very little information has been released, we do know that an SUV reportedly rear-ended a small sedan. At least three people were injured in the crash. An occupant in the sedan had to be extricated from the wreckage.
One person was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Other people were taken to Lompoc Valley Medical Center for the treatment of various injuries. There has been no word on the identities or conditions of anybody who was injured in the crash. As of Wednesday afternoon, this crash was still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
