On Sunday night, there was a two-vehicle crash involving injuries in Santa Maria. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the collision happened at the intersection of South Broadway and McCoy Lane at about 8:30 p.m. Very few details have been released about this injury crash, but we do know that firefighters had to free people who were trapped in one of the overturned vehicles.
At least three people were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries, and the intersection had to be closed as crews worked the scene. There has been no word on the cause of this two-car crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
