Injury Van Crash in San Diego

Earlier this week, a driver was injured when his van struck a parked car in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on Governor Drive, near Mercer Street, on Tuesday night. For currently unknown reasons, a westbound 1998 Plymouth Voyager van veered off of the roadway and hit a parked Nissan Maxima.

The van driver suffered from life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. He reportedly sustained a major brain bleed among other injuries. Thankfully, there was nobody in the Maxima at the time of the crash and no other reported injuries. At this time, there has been no official word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
