Kids Injured in El Cajon Crash

On Friday, a t-bone crash in El Cajon sent three women and two small children to the hospital. According to ABC News Channel 10, the incident happened in the 1000 block of West Main Street just before 10:30 a.m. Apparently, a car veered off of the road, struck a utility pole and a street sign before entering Marshall Avenue against a red light. The car broadsided a southbound minivan.

At this time, very few details about the crash have been released. We do know that there were two women, a toddler and an infant in the minivan at the time of the crash. Those occupants and the driver in the other car were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement.
