Lemon Grove Hit and Run Crash on SR 94

Earlier this week, a driver was ejected from his vehicle during a hit-and-run crash in Lemon Grove. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened on State Route 94, near Lemon Grove Avenue, at about 2:00 a.m. on Thursday. For currently unknown reasons, a Mercedes sedan veered off of the roadway after it was hit by another vehicle. The sedan went up an embankment and hit a sign post.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. At this time, it’s not clear whether or not that person was buckled up at the time of the wreck. When first responders arrived on the scene, they had to rush the injured driver to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
