Late last night, a suspected drunk driver slammed his Dodge Challenger into the back of an SUV in Logan Heights on Interstate 5. Thankfully, no one suffered major injuries. Although, the man driving the SUV suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. According to Fox 5 News, firefighters had to extricate the suspected drunk driver from his 2014 Dodge Challenger. The suspected drunk driver also slammed his Dodge into the guardrail near the Cesar Chavez Parkway off-ramp from southbound I-5. The suspected drunk driver had a puppy in his vehicle that was saved by emergency crews.
