Late Friday morning, three people were injured after a head-on collision in Lompoc. The Lompoc Record reported there was a two-vehicle head-on collision, two people were trapped in one of the vehicles. The driver was already out of the second vehicle when emergency crews arrived.  The Santa Barbara County Fire extricated one driver who was stuck in the vehicle. All three victims in the accident were transported by AMR to Lompoc Hospital. The lane was closed for some time after the incident so the California Highway Patrol could investigate the incident.
