Earlier this week, a man was attacked by two pit bulls in a church parking lot in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened outside of the New Creation Church on Altadena Avenue in the Chollas Creek area. Very little information has been released, but initial reports indicate that the man was bit on the face, the head and on other parts of his body. The dog owner reportedly pulled the dogs off the man, and then fled the scene.

The dog owner did not stay with the injured man or call for help. Law enforcement officers found a dog harness on the scene, and the investigation has been turned over to animal control. No information has been released about the injured man’s current status. The dogs and their owner have not been located.
