Motorcycle Passenger Injured in Orcutt Crash

Over the weekend, a motorcycle passenger was injured in a crash in Orcutt. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened near the intersection of Union Valley Parkway and South Bradley Road, just before 6:00 p.m., on Saturday evening. Very few details about this single-vehicle motorcycle crash have been released, but we do know that the motorcycle had two people on it, and it was traveling at about 25 miles per hour prior to the crash.

The driver did not report any injuries on the scene, but the passenger, a 50-year-old woman, was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Apparently, her helmet came off during the crash. No information has been released about her current condition. Additionally, there has been no word on the cause of this motorcycle crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
