Motorcycle Rider Injured by Suspected Drunk Driver

Earlier this week, a motorcycle rider was injured in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver in Pacific Beach. According to Fox News Channel Five, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Haines Street. Initial reports indicate that the suspected drunk driver pulled out in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the driver’s side of a 2000 Toyota Camry. The rider was ejected from the bike during the crash.

First responders rushed to the scene, and the motorcycle rider had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries including multiple broken bones. The Camry driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. At this time, no information has been released on the motorcycle rider’s current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved.
