A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 101 near El Campo early Tuesday morning due to a deer running out onto the road. According to KSBY News, a 54-year-old Orcutt man was driving south of El Campo Road when he struck a deer that had run onto the roadway causing it to be thrown into the next traffic lane directly into the path of a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle being driven by 49-year-old Johnny Dale Trujillo. Trujillo was ejected from his motorcycle due to the impact with the deer. A Toyota Prius then drove over Trujillo. The driver of the Prius was identified as Kathryn Sue Hoag.  The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Johnny Dale Trujillo.
