Motorcyclist Injured in San Diego

On Sunday, a 26-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver. The incident happened in the Tierrasanta area sometime before 10:00 p.m. According to Fox Channel Five News, the motorcyclist was headed west on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at Santo Road, when the driver of a Honda pulled directly in front of him on the roadway.

The motorcyclist was unable to maneuver out of the way in time and struck the Honda. He suffered from an open fracture to his leg. There’s no word on his current condition or the extent of injuries involved. The driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
