Multi-Car Crash in Point Loma

At least two people were injured in a Point Loma multi-car crash on Thursday. According to NBC Channel Seven News, the incident happened at about 5:45 a.m., at Atascardero Drive and Nimitz Boulevard. Apparently a shuttle van making a left turn hit an oncoming Ford 500.

This chain-reaction crash also involved a Ford F150 and a Toyota Tacoma. The shuttle van driver suffered from a broken arm, and the Ford 500 driver might have broken both of her ankles in the crash. Drivers in the other two vehicles reported pain, but neither of them were transported to the hospital from the scene. Crews and first responders were on the scene for hours, and the intersection was reopened at about 11:00 a.m.
