Multi-Car Injury Crash in San Diego

Earlier this week, there was a multi-vehicle crash in the College Area of San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened at the intersection of 70th street and El Cajon Boulevard at about 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday night. At least six people were injured in this crash, and two of them were severely injured.

Apparently, a 63-year-old man in a 2016 Mercedes E400 was headed eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard when he suffered from some type of medical issue. His vehicle hit the back of a Ford Fusion, and both of those vehicles ended up in the westbound lanes of the roadway where they were struck by three other vehicles.

The Ford Fusion caught fire, and the two 22-year-old women inside had to be pulled from the wreckage. They both suffered from severe burn injuries and internal bleeding. At this time, no information has been released about their current conditions.
