On Wednesday morning, there was a multi-vehicle injury crash on Highway 1 near Vandenberg Air Force Base. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, seven people were injured in the crash. A total of six vehicles were involved in the crash. Of those injured, at least four of them suffered from serious injuries.

First responders and crews rushed to the scene of the crash, which happened sometime before 6:30 a.m. near Firefighter Road. The injured people were transported to either Lompoc Valley Medical Center or Marian Regional Medical Center for the treatment of injuries ranging from moderate to severe. There has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
