On Monday afternoon, there was a multi-injury crash on Harris Grade Road near Los Alamos. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened about a mile and a half from Highway 135, just before 5:00 p.m. Initial reports indicate that a truck and an SUV were involved in the crash. Both vehicles reportedly sustained a significant amount of damage.

First responders rushed to the scene, where occupants had to be extricated from each of the wrecked vehicles. At least one person had to be airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of major injuries. Additionally, three other people were also injured in the crash. There has been no word on anybody’s current condition, and the cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
