Early this morning, a driver of a water truck was killed in the Nuns Fire in Napa County. The driver was a contracted firefighter with Cal Fire, he was driving the truck on a steep roadway and lost control of the truck. The truck went off of the roadway and overturned and landed on its roof. According to the East Bay Times, “The accident happened as firefighters entered their eighth-day battling devastating wildfires in Northern California, blazes which killed at least 40 people and scorched 200,000 acres, containment numbers improved overnight on two of the largest blazes.”

The Fire is currently contained by 68%, however, many have died and many people have lost their homes. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the Cal Fire firefighter who died. We also have everyone involved in our prayers in hopes to survive the terrible Northern California fires.
