A pregnant woman was hit head-on by a suspected DUI driver on Friday night in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. The expecting mother was hit by a man who had three prior DUI convictions and had his license suspended six times over the last six years. The expecting mother gave birth to the baby girl that died soon after that collision. NBC 4 Los Angeles confirmed the driver to be, “Julian Gutierrez, 25, is charged with one felony count each of murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury within 10 years of two other DUI offenses and driving with a 0.08 blood-alcohol content causing injury within 10 years of two other DUI offenses.” Harris Personal Injury Lawyers has the woman in our prayers in hopes she fully recovers.
