On Saturday afternoon in the Bay Area, a stolen car was in pursuit. This stolen Nissan Maxima was found in Oakland and officers chased after the vehicle until it crashed in Danville. The suspected driver was identified as Christopher Hurst. According to KRON News, The pursuit lasted only a short time before Hurst lost control of the vehicle and crashed into trees in the median before coming to rest in the eastbound lanes. Upon crashing, Hurt fled the vehicle on foot but was caught and detained by officers. Luckily, no other vehicles were injured or involved in this high-speed chase.
