One-Car Crash in Vista Sends Teenagers to Hospital

On Sunday, a crash in Vista sent three people to the hospital, including two teenagers. The wreck happened sometime after 1:30 a.m. on Bobier Drive, near Cortez Avenue. An SUV rolled over and slammed into a light pole, injuring the driver and two teen passengers. All three occupants were able to crawl out of the vehicle’s broken windows before first responders arrived.

All three people were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries. There’s no word on their current conditions, but the teens’ injuries were initially described as minor. According to Fox Channel Five News, the SUV was speeding when it veered off the curve. Authorities didn’t suspect alcohol impairment, and the driver was not given a citation.
