Earlier this week, there was a one-vehicle crash off of Pacific Highway in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 3:00 a.m. when a driver lost control of his vehicle. The truck went through a barrier and plunged off of a freeway overpass. The vehicle landed on the street below, Witherby Street.

Although the driver initially appeared to be trapped in the vehicle, he was able to get out of the wreckage and escape without serious injury. Law enforcement officers did not suspect drugs or alcohol to be involved. There has been no word on the cause of the crash, but speed is thought to have been a factor. Thankfully, no additional injuries or vehicles were involved.
