On Saturday night, a man was injured when his pickup truck overturned on Highway 154. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the wreck happened about a mile west of Paradise Road in the Santa Ynez Valley. At this time, very little information has been released about this crash. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the driver trapped in the overturned truck. He was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

After being extricated from the wreckage, he was rushed to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. There has been no word on his current condition, but his injuries were described as moderate. A portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews worked the scene.  This wreck is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
