A 19-year-old passenger is in critical condition after a solo car crash in Paso Robles. Emergency personnel, including the Paso Robles Police Department arrived at the scene at around 1:24 am and found the vehicle 20 feet down a hill. Firefighters and paramedics freed the critically injured passenger from the wreckage using hydraulic rescue tools.

The driver of the vehicle, Isaac Daniel Byers, 22, was treated for minor injuries at Twin Cities Community Hospital. Once release from the hospital he was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence. According to the San Luis Obispo Tribune, the passenger Andrew Phillip Kunz, of Paso Robles was taken to the trauma center at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
