This Wednesday, a 21-year-old driver and her passenger were injured when they crashed on the Interstate 15. The driver was suspected to be driving under the influence, when she drove off the freeway and crashed directly into a chain link fence. This occurred on the I-15 near Lake Hodges, near Via Rancho Parkway. The San Diego Tribune stated that, “The impact caused the 2005 SAAB vehicle to overturn and hit two eucalyptus trees.  The SAAB came to a rest on its roof in the parking lot of a BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse about 2:35 a.m.”  The firefighters saved the passenger from the car, who was taken to the hospital with major injuries. The driver will be arrested for driving under the influence.
