Passenger Injured in RV Crash

Early Sunday morning, a passenger was severely injured in a crash involving a parked RV. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at 1:21 a.m., in a residential area of Cliff Drive, near San Rafael Avenue. For currently unknown reasons, a vehicle ran into a parked RV. The passenger in that car had to be extricated by first responders.

The driver was able to get out of the wreckage. The injured passenger was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, and was reportedly in serious condition, but there is no word on the extent of that person’s injuries. There were also two people in the RV at the time of the crash. First responders evaluated both of them on the scene. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
