Pedestrian and Parked Cars Hit in Fairmont Park

Over the weekend, a pedestrian and two parked cars were struck in Fairmont Park. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Saturday afternoon near 4000 Home Avenue. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle hit a parked car and a pedestrian and then struck another parked vehicle. First responders rushed to the scene, where they had to transport the 56-year-old pedestrian to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, reported that he had some kind of shoulder pain prior to the crash. Although there has been no word on the official cause of the crash, law enforcement officers are reportedly looking into whether or not alcohol could have been a factor. This wreck is likely still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
