Pedestrian Crash in Santa Barbara

On Friday afternoon, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian in Santa Barbara. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at about 3:00 p.m., in the 1100 block of Coast Village Road, in the crosswalk, in front of the Bank of America. The woman was walking northbound, when a westbound sedan hit her. First responders were swiftly on the scene, and the pedestrian was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries.

At this time, we do know that she suffered a broken arm, but there’s no word on the extent of injuries involved or her current condition. Law enforcement officers were reportedly speaking with an elderly driver after the crash, but there’s no word on whether or not any citations have been issued in this case.
