Pedestrian Death in Spring Valley
On Tuesday night, a pedestrian was struck in killed in Spring Valley. According to NBC San Diego Channel Seven News, the incident happened just after midnight at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Grand Avenue. The driver, a 74-year-old man, reportedly did not see the pedestrian prior to the collision. The pedestrian died on the scene, and the driver has not been cited in this case.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that no other vehicles were involved, and drugs and alcohol were not thought to be factors in this fatal crash.
