This Thursday, a driver hit and dragged a pedestrian while the pedestrian was walking through an intersection in South San Francisco. The driver dragged the pedestrian 60 feet before stopping. Unfortunately, the pedestrian was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Patch stated, “The incident happened ‘in the early morning hours’ in the 200 block of Grand Avenue, in the downtown area, according to police.” The pedestrian was not ‘J-walking’ and was in a marked zone. The driver did not flee the scene and cooperated with authorities. The authorities are investigating this accident further and would like witnesses to contact the police.
