Pedestrian Hit by Driver Doing Donuts

Over the weekend, a pedestrian was seriously injured when a driver was doing “donuts” in a San Diego intersection. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at the intersection of Carroll Canyon and Scranton Roads. Initial reports indicate that the right rear of the vehicle struck the pedestrian.

There was apparently a crowd of people in the area at the time of the collision. Most people were able to get out of the way of the car, but one female pedestrian was struck. She had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. At this time, there has been no word on her current condition or on the full extent of injuries involved, and police officers are looking for a dark or blue sedan with two chrome exhaust pipes coming out of the left rear side with damage to the right rear quarter panel.
