Pedestrian Hit in Coronado

Last week, a 19-year-old pedestrian in Coronado was struck by a minivan. According to ABC News Channel 10, the incident happened on Fourth Avenue, just after the light on Orange Avenue. The teen was taking out a garbage can at the time of the collision. Very few details have been released, but we do know the driver involved was 74 years old.

Last year, an elderly pedestrian was struck and killed in nearly the same area. Frustrated residents are calling on changes in what might be one of the busiest roads through a residential area in San Diego. The teen reportedly suffered from moderate injuries but was awake when he was transported to the hospital. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. wishes him a swift and full recovery.
