On Tuesday night, a pedestrian was hit near Liberty Station in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at about 5:17 p.m. near Rosecrans Street and Laning Road. Very few details about this collision have been released, but we do know that the injured pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Initial reports indicate that he was in the designated crosswalk at the time of the crash.
The car involved reportedly turned left onto the roadway prior to hitting the pedestrian. The driver did remain on the scene to cooperate with authorities after the crash. The pedestrian’s injuries were described as life threatening, but there has been no update on that person’s current condition.
