Last Sunday night, a pedestrian was severely injured by a hit-and-run driver in the Midway area of San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened at the intersection of Sports Arena Boulevard and Camino del Rio West. At least two pedestrians were hit, and one of them was dragged about 800 feet by the vehicle. They were crossing the intersection when the hit-and-run driver struck them at about 10:15 p.m.

One of the pedestrians was rushed to the hospital for treatment of major injuries including a pelvic fracture. The other pedestrian was also injured in the collision. The driver sped off, but law enforcement authorities arrested a suspect early Monday morning. There has been no word on the current condition of the pedestrian who was dragged by the hit-and-run driver.
