Pedestrian Injured in Santa Maria Hit-and-Run

On Wednesday night, a woman in Santa Maria was injured in an apparent hit-and-run crash. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened near College Drive and Chapel Street. Officers with the Santa Maria Police Department responded to the call at about 11:00 p.m., but there’s no word on what time this collision could have happened. Law enforcement officials found the female pedestrian lying unresponsive in the street. She was swiftly transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
