On Wednesday night, a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision involving a pickup truck in Santa Maria. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened at North College Drive and East Armstrong Avenue at about 7:00 p.m. Very few details about the incident have been released, but we do know that a female pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck.
That person was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of injuries. The driver of the pickup truck remained on the scene to cooperate with authorities.
