Pedestrian Struck in San Diego

Another pedestrian was fatally struck in San Diego. The incident happened in downtown’s East Village. The victim, a man in his 50’s, was struck in the southbound lanes of 200 14th Street. The collision happened at about 8:45 p.m. on Thursday evening.

David Stafford, with the San Diego Police Department, said that the man was crawling on the roadway for unknown reasons. Channel 10 News reports that the man died at the scene. No information on the victim’s identity has been released. Additionally, there is no word on why the man was allegedly crawling in the street or if anybody else was injured.
