A male pedestrian died early this morning in Point Loma after getting hit by three vehicles. The man was walking through a crosswalk on Rosecrans Street and Voltaire Street around 12:30 a.m. According to ABC Ten News, the unidentified man was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene, but the driver called 911 and reported herself at around 2 a.m. The second car that hit the victim has yet to be identified. The third vehicle, a Jeep, tried to avoid hitting the man and could not. That driver remained at the scene for questioning.

The victim was immediately taken to a UCSD Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
