Over the weekend, a 21-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Ventura County. The man was identified Monday by authorities, his name was Ismail Aliyev. Ismail was driving at a high speed on westbound Highway 101 when he veered off the freeway to avoid a traffic stop. He exited the freeway and went through the stop sign and continued back on the freeway. Officers were in route behind Ismail and confirmed he reached speeds up to 110 mph. He then exited the freeway at Westlake Boulevard to get on the eastbound side and accidentally hit a freeway sign. Noozhawk confirmed he was ejected from his motorcycle and landed partially on the freeway. He was hit by an oncoming Acura RDX and was confirmed to be dead at the scene. Luckily no other cars or injuries were involved in this tragic display of negligent driving. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the Ismail.
