Reckless Driver Hits Multiple Cars in Malibu

Earlier this week, a reckless driver hit multiple cars in Malibu. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the vehicle ended up in a police chase and standoff before the driver was apprehended. The pursuit started at about 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon on Ventura Boulevard and DeSoto Avenue in the Woodland Hills area. The driver reportedly struck several cars on Ventura and ran through a red light.

The driver turned onto the Pacific Coast Highway from Topanga Canyon Boulevard and a brush fire started nearby that had to be dealt with. The fire burned about 10 acres before it was extinguished. Thankfully, the driver was finally stopped on the PCH, somewhere between Sweetwater Mesa and Carbon Canyon. There were about six LAPD units involved in the arrest, and he was taken into custody. No information has been released about what charges this driver is currently facing.
