A driver crashed in the East Bay after crashing into a parked few cars in San Pablo early Thursday morning. This occurred around 3:30 a.m. and CHP officers tried to pull over the driver of a BMW SUV near Powell Street along eastbound Interstate 80, but the driver did not comply, according to NBC Bay Area. The driver was driving recklessly on the city street and was found slammed into a fire hydrant near San Pablo Dam Road. The driver was immediately taken to the hospital with major injuries. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
