Restaurant Owner Injured in Hit and Run in Escondido

Just before the holidays, a local restaurant owner in Escondido was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened when 33-year-old Kaitlyn Rose “Rosie” Pilsbury, owner of Rosie’s Café, was riding her motorcycle on December 21, 2019. Very few details about this crash have been released, but we do know that an SUV hit Pilsbury’s motorcycle head-on. The driver of the SUV got out of the vehicle and left the scene.

Pilsbury was rushed to Palomar Medical Center for treatment and is still in the Intensive Care Unit. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not an arrest has been made. This incident is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
