Rollover Crash on Highway 101

On Sunday afternoon, a one-vehicle rollover crash ended in fire on Highway 101. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the incident happened sometime before 4:30 p.m. near the Alisos Canyon Road exit, about 2 and a half miles south of Los Alamos. For currently unknown reasons, a motorist lost control of his or her vehicle, and it ended upside down and on fire beside a vineyard.

Thankfully, the driver was able to escape the wreckage before the vehicle caught fire. Although first responder paramedics were on the scene, the driver declined medical treatment. The cause of this crash is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
