On Saturday afternoon, a driver was injured in a rollover crash near Vandenberg Village. According to Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk, the one-vehicle wreck happened at about 12:35 p.m. on Highway 1, between Santa Lucia Canyon Road and Constellation Road. Very few details about this crash have been released, but we do know that the vehicle rolled multiple times before hitting a tree.

First responders rushed to the scene, where the driver had to be airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for immediate treatment of moderate injuries. A portion of the highway had to be closed as crews and investigators worked the scene. There has been no word on the driver’s current condition or the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with the California Highway Patrol.
