On Tuesday, four people were seriously injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 8. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened during a pursuit involving Border Patrol agents. Very few details have been released, but initial reports indicate that a blue Ford Expedition failed to yield to a parked vehicle near Buckman Springs Road. The vehicle sped off and reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

Near Japatul Valley Road, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it rolled down a ravine. Two of the passengers were ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured. Another two passengers inside of the vehicle were also injured. The 23-year-old driver tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by law enforcement officers.
