On Saturday, three people died in their vehicle when they slammed into the back of a big rig box truck in Salinas. A BMW was traveling at high speeds when it collided with to a big rig. When the California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene, they established that the big rig was making a left-hand turn into a private driveway ahead of the BMW, when the driver of the BMW applied the brakes and skidded before colliding with the right rear side of the rig. The impact of the big rig’s trailer collided into another vehicle as well. The driver and two passengers in the BMW were confirmed dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
