San Diego Family Speaks with Local Students about Drinking and Driving

Almost a year after a drunk driver slammed head-on into the Cunningham family’s minivan, they’re speaking to students at Point Loma Nazarene University about the consequences of drinking and driving. On Saint Patrick’s Day, 2013, Alisa Cunningham and her daughters were in their minivan on Highway 52. While heading home from picking up the girls, the minivan was struck head-on by a drunk driver. Will Cunningham offered a heartfelt testimony about arriving at the hospital to find his wife and daughters being treated for various injuries. One of the Cunningham girls was kept in a coma for 17 days. Students listened intently as each family member described how their lives changed in that instant.
