On Monday, a 25-year-old man suffered from head injuries in an e-scooter crash in downtown San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened in San Diego’s East Village on G Street, between 10th and 11th streets. For currently unknown reasons, the rider lost control of the scooter and fell off of it. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of a fractured skull, a fractured orbital bone and a brain bleed.


No information has been released on his current condition. At this time, there has been no word on what caused him to lose control of the electric scooter. This scooter incident may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
